The Present Is Priceless.

March 3, 2010

Good day folks. Its about 2am in the morning and I’ve been having some trouble sleeping; or rather sleeping well. It feels horrible to wake up feeling uneasy, but thank goodness for my recent afternoon naps. Started my day with an early morning studio, grabbed Subway for lunch, drove home with a headache then dinner with the Keeper. I’ve got this great feeling that my body or rather system is not used to the early waking hours, hence resulting in so much uneasiness & I was a cranky pot today.

This kept me busy for studio; the Circa Gallery.

“You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep
because reality is finally better than your dreams.”

I picked that line up from some tweet earlier today, and realized that at times reality can be better than what lies in our dreams. No I am not gonna sound like some dreamy love-drunkard, but I’ve never failed to be amuse with the little dreams that we share. :)

Questioning myself at times,if all of this sacrifices would be worth it in the end; what if things don’t work out in the very end? I bet this is an undying question which never seem to sink in and disappear; the truth is,nobody knows. The fear of the uncertainty will draw every little fear that you have to you. When I was much younger, say a couple of years ago; being so wrecked it instantly built up this mechanism of prevention is better than cure which ended up as a burden.

A burden of hopes and fear. Then as I grew a little older, realizing that sometimes we have to live by the moment. Living by the moment doesn’t mean ignoring the all that is significant and important to just have fun; but really being in the present.

Living in the past to my humble interpretation would be to make your every decision based solely on what has happened but never for the possibility that things might turn out differently. Its an extremely heavy burden to carry because it carries a tonne of regrets, disappointments, brutal memories and most importantly it deviates your vision of the present.

I’m only human okay wtf so its normal to admit that I was extremely driven by the fear that history would repeat on its own. Even the thought of reliving those two years of wildness in 2004-2005 still frightens the crap out of me because the aftermath was distasteful.

I held on to good faith.
A very unpromising act that people tend to dismiss.
So guess who thought me the power of having good faith? :)

Grilled duck & foie gras sausages served with truffled mashed potatoes priced at RM38

Fritto misto of deep-fried prawns, squid and codfish served with mixed salad priced at RM44.

Personally I loved the food at BarItalia where its strength rests more on the quality of the serving and very Italian vibe of the surroundings. However, if I was given a choice to come back here for more; I think I’ve tasted better Italian food. Well if all else fails, its the company that matters!

Since I was little miss grumpy throwing forks and spoons at the Keeper wtf and I just needed to have some very quiet time; we grabbed a drink at my usual goto place at PappaRich SS15. Bumped into Julia *waves* shoutout to you, Justin and a couple of people. The world is getting smaller these days.

The quiet night with me physically abusing the Keeper with my tiny fingers with a pinch that kills and him breaking my arms apart violently. That was an obvious joke! I know its kinda stupid and random but our main topic of the night was about our wedding night. Its so hilarious because he was counting the amount of close relative I have multiplying them with the number of seats for a Chinese Wedding dinner and went berzerk with the figure.

Just picture a girl and a boy sitting at a restaurant.
And our conversation lead on further to who our best man and bridesmaid would be wtf.
Think thats not dreamy enough, we even talked about the design of the tuxedo & gown for the night.
Did I mention that the Keeper suggested that we throw a wedding theme that requires everyone to wear sneakers (preferably PUMA wtf) on that night?

I don’t think any aunty would want to put on a cheongsam with a pair of sneakers wtf.
What wedding theme folks?
