The Best Pan Mee?

July 29, 2009

Good day folks.I’ve been busy preparing for studio work and of course this semester has gotta be a no nonsense final semester; hence I’ve just put on my nerdy cap on wtf. :) Instilling self discipline isn’t too much of a hard work if you’re doing everything right, from the daily runs,to having good sleep at night. The bottom line is that juggling both between my work & fun has literally worn me out, and its my final semester before stepping one step forward in becoming an architect.

On a very random note, the moment I got home after class today; logged on to my Twitter and saw a very inspiring yet tempting tweet coming from David. He mentioned the magic word of the day which struck me right there and then because I missed lunch :( and hence it was tweet all over about Pan Mee.

I’ve grown up loving Pan Mee, typical Hokkien girl wtf.My dad’s a Hokkien chinese and I can’t speak the Hokkien dialect fluently but apparently I own the taste buds of a typical Hokkien girl loving the Hokkien Mee, Pan Mee and etc. :|  In case you have no idea what Pan Mee is, and how it’s served; scroll through the pictures which I grabbed over the world wide web courtesy of Google images. :)

Quoted from Wikipedia;

Pan Mee or Ban Mian (Chinese : 板麺) is a Hokkien-style egg noodle soup, some forms of Ban mian, comprises hand-kneaded pieces of dough, while others use regular strips of noodles.

At the rate I’m going, I think I should just learn up some recipe in preparing this and invite friends over to be my lab rat. :D The best part about living aside from all our daily obligations would obviously be to feed yourself well and keeping it healthy. So if you’ve ever tasted Pan Mee, and you think that place is worthy of mentioning; I’m all ears.Don’t mind being a lab rat at all when it comes to having ze best Pan Mee.I love all of it be it the clear soup, dry, chilly, curry or even assam flavored Pan Mee which i’m yet to discover. :|

Love you much much in advance for the heads up about Pan Mee.

To wrap this post up before I’m off to grab dinner with the Keeper & Nintendo Wii showdown (hopefully!); just to prove a point that I don’t approve any Tom Dick & Harry’s Facebook request unless you’re some super drop dead gorgeous stranger that I’m dying to be friends with then thats a different scenario all together lah! :D Its hitting 1000 friends request soon, and technically its kinda rude to not approve strangers but I’m closing 1,400 on genuine friends/acquaintances list.

Facebook.

Do you hit on the Ignore button? :|

I gotta rush off now to get ready,or else I’m gonna get my ass kicked for being a slow poke. Hopefully some food lovers would be able to enlighten me on the Pan Mee search.
Much love,cheerios.
