December 28, 2008

Good day. It has been a great weekend, with charming smiles lighting up both occasions and its really true that somethings can only be felt by the heart. Some kind of love which you will only find when you least expect them, and I am glad to say that I’ve made my choice now. Christmas has always been a very well celebrated event of the year, and it has a greater value to it than just merely the time of the year where we dress up our Christmas trees or exchange gifts. The Christmas spirit has its own magic in bringing people together only when you believe and want it enough. In fact, it should even be declared Christmas everyday!

Above, Alvin showing me a picture of a car which I am absolutely clueless about.
Below, trying out the Canon Speedlite 430ex flash which is proven; failed big time.

Alvin once again, the lousy photographer; yet to redeem himself.
Thats his dad and my environmental friendly wrapped presents.

The lovely gingerbreadman which Cynthia baked for each and everyone of us.

Above: Alvin’s gingerbreadman without a smile. Thats for not smiling enough in pictures.
Below: My gingerbreadman, or should i refer it as gingerbreadwoman wtf. Loved it!

Tables stacked up with presents before the game started.
We were all suppose to prepare three gifts.

So what we were suppose to do:

Round 1 : To circulate two sets of dice and whoever rolls a 6 gets to pick a present;
and it goes round and round until all the available presents are taken.

Round 2 : Next, the two sets of dice are circulated again and this time whoever rolls a 6
gets to steal a present! Its really hilarious to see the “favourite” presents being tossed from
one hand to another, over and over again. For this round,a timer is set or else we’d probably still be stealing right now!

Tips: Don’t judge a gift by its wrapper!

Whoever said the best presents have to be excruciatingly expensive to lift a smile on someone’s face? For example, the pink umbrella which Alvin picked up and its camwhore worthy!

Since you’re already so bald, why don’t you just put ‘em on Alvin!

I don’t know if they have this fishing game anywhere else out of Malaysia, but this is probably one of the many games i grew up playing with. What happens is that the green platform would turn in circles and the fishes will randomly raise up and down. When that happens, thats when you fish!

Everyone was having a great time, including myself!

Okay i guess its obvious who’s the biggest baby around here.
Although I might be the youngest around the house, but the obvious biggest
baby award will definitely go to Alvin.

I’ve spent a month or so asking myself what is wrong with me, and I guess I finally found my answer through this Christmas period. Life goes on, and having good faith will never fail you. I’ve figured out my new tagline that came up randomly while scrolling through the pictures I had for the past couple of photo albums. Its now “Charm With A Smile” and how can you not charm when you smile?

So start smiling more already!
Charm With A Smile. ♥

Well, actually i was running out of time to wrap the presents and in the end used recycled Newspapers instead! The colored decorative ribbons stole the show in the end! :)

Its the thought that counts <3
