So,Blogger United? |
November 4, 2009 |
Its been a good half a year since I’ve mentioned a thing about Blogger United because at one point it seemed like some ridiculous rat race wtf and there’s a whole wide world larger than this community itself. Couldn’t stand the idea of having people assuming that they’re way on top just because of how they took advantage of the system. Rei has done an amazing job in expanding this site, and it has grown into something so much larger today.
I can’t seem to get rid of the updates sent over to Twitter whenever I make any changes though. Help please?
It is a good platform to kick start your blog & place it on the map for beginners.
Well it is after all the world wide web, there’s a whole wider world over the web.
And yes I know one of the most frequently asked question is if it contributes traffic to your site, maybe it does but not for me.
Just my two cents worth of an opinion, its sure been a long time since I’ve stepped foot there.
Just simply write blog posts with eye catching titles or key words which involves the word sex, boobs or any related issues and you should be able to get attention. Its all about consistency, how consistent can you be about that wtf. I dare bet with you, write a cliche catchy title & it’ll be read instantaneously there.
Yes its that simple.

yeah, compare to other blogers community,
BU is quite user friendly and easy to use.
and able to get more exposure compare to the others.
although there is still some exploit, but it is not a problem as those are not security exploit
I agree on the issue regarding the title.
I myself have been on Xanga for six years, and I know you were there in the past so you know how the system works basically. some people just post a title up that is catchy and cliche’d and they get mad number of views and comments. once there’s this particular guy posted a title “BOOBS” and in the post he only said that he wants to see how many people clicked over to his site. It worked marvelously.
I think BU has done exceptionally well especially when it comes to exposure for new bloggers. WD =)
haha, the words ‘boobs’ always works.

Actually come to think of it, I found your posting rather interesting coming from a 21 year old. You made some very good points here especially this one;
“Just simply write blog posts with eye catching titles or key words which involves the word sex, boobs or any related issues and you should be able to get attention”
After all, sex does sell, just go to Nuffnang and take a look at all the top 10 postings daily, 6 out of 10 are sex related. 2 days ago, the top post was something about “15 Year Old Girl gets @#$*ed 300 times”…. gosh…with a posting like that, it simply tells you that the only thing on a number of people’s head is sex or sex-related. A sad truth but that’s Malaysian mentality I guess.
One of the reasons for this is that most people are simply not creative enough and seek attention in any way possible. Hey, not only the cam-whoring babes, we also talking about the new breed of cam-whoring guys! lmao.
Anyway, just wanted to express my 2 sen here. You can take it with a smile or hate it for a while.

David

niway… i cant agree more with hogan, sex does sell in m’sia xD
Totally agreed with JrHogan that Sex does sell.
