Good day all. The weather hasn’t been very friendly lately, causing me massive headaches and I need to start sleeping early soon. At the rate that I’m going,I’d be surprise to not fall sick wtf. To be honest,I’m pretty surprised my dad hasn’t lose his patience yet for being out so late for the past weeks. My wild guess, he’s probably just letting me have my last week of freedom.
A picture grabbed off Facebook on a CNY Reunion Dinner.
I shall attempt to recall all their names!
Top row: Jill, Xiang Chee, Terence, Lianne, Yi Min, Kathy, Stella, myself, Alvin, Justin, Zi Wei, Mark.
Bottom row:Donovan, Weng Leong, Geraldine, Cyndi, Edmund, Jason, Chor Min.
My day started off with this absolutely random trip to Ikea with James who’s probably up on the plane back to Sydney, then later joined by Joe, Euvern and Kwong Heng. Some of the pictures were taken using my mobile phone,so pardon the quality alright?
So I have this mission.
So I have this one last thing to do before classes resumes.
God knows why I make it sound as if I’m gonna die tomorrow wtf but so here’s what its all about. My initial idea was just to merely do up my room, but since my room is already pretty neat and dandy; decided to make use of my architectural background to just give the Keeper a treat of my FOC service. All this wouldn’t be possible without the financial budget given by his dad who handed me cash earlier tonight!
I mean its really fun to just create something together; not to mention if its a space.
I never really had the privilege to choose my home’s furniture because daddy decides them all; so you have no idea how thrilled I am to create this space.
An architect to be at work yo!
So based on the two pictures above, I’m gonna be meeting Karlson who’s gonna be my furniture shopping buddy tomorrow. Always helps to bring an architect friend along since I’m still a student wtf. I’m super excited to buy the stuffs in the morning, and get the main fixtures set up at night.
The Keeper has always wanted this room which feels like a very personal space, being able to do everything under one tiny roof. (in this case,a floor slab?) So my aim isn’t so much to redesign or massively redo the entire space, but to make use of the existing fixtures. Its an extremely romantic thing to do together, the only difference would be; I get to make love to the room wtf.
- Design process kicks off with us discussing about the layout of the room, and what we have in mind.
- A small room can either be transformed into a store-room where you live within a tiny matchbox sort of spatial value; or transforming it into an extremely personal-private cozy space.
- I’m thinking of buying a notice board to paste photos/notes, multiple photo frames probably repainted aligned horizontally along the walls, get a very simple stand alone light and hoping to find a sexy carpet!
- The most exciting part about doing interior spaces would be the fact that you can actually visualize it in actual perspective and colors. Everything’s made a lot easier with IKEA!
James & Joe makes all my headache go away!
Thank you both for today,I had so much fun!
So long James Woon, see you in June!
Its gonna be an extremely long day for me tomorrow with so many things to do! However,I’m sure it will all pay off eventually; I’m giving myself two days to make this work. Feel free to share with me some ideas,or whatsoever! At least, this very tiny project to make the Keeper‘s room a nicer place to live in will sort of give me a kick start before my classes begin next week.
Just out of curiosity, guys would you love the whole idea of a room makeover?
Assuming she’s got great taste and won’t end up pinkifying your room!
Girls,what are you waiting for?
