Good day folks. The first hectic week of CNY is finally coming to an end, and this is my final week of relaxation. JamesWoon will be flying back to Sydney,keeping my fingers crossed about our trip to Ikea over lunch. So here’s what I’ve been up to for the past few nights.

• Wednesday night was spent at Euvern’s place gambling the night away with Joe & the rest. Managed to make 80 bucks out of six rounds of 20bucks per round for BlackJack. Pretty lucky night!
• Thursday night having an impromptu home-cooked dinner family gathering which went on successfully well with the help of the Keeper,preparing dinner and all sorts. A game of poker with the cousins, guess who walked away with the biggest win of the night?
• Friday night was bloody tiring after a long day up in Genting; attended some dinner at BSC’s Grand Imperial Restaurant with very lousy food. Perhaps its the festive season that’s causing the lack of quality control?
• Saturday night ended with a romantic date for two catching Valentines Day at e@Curve’s Platinum Movie Suite. A minor overdose on the act of love and kindness wouldn’t kill you know.

Thats a wrap on my report-like style of summarizing it all.
This is gonna be a pretty long post,so may i suggest that you take a deep breathe and chill.

Let me just kick this off with our trip up to Genting on Friday to escape the insanely hot weather,and also on the pretext of just spending some time alone together. Its not like we don’t do that all the time wtf,but you know sometimes you need to just make impromptu decisions and have some good fun with each other. The day started off with having Pan Mee because I love ‘em, then up we go!

After spending quite a fair bit of time at Starbucks,just chatting the morning away; headed over to the casino (finally!) because I’ve never really attempted to enter the one in Genting since I just turned 21 last October. Here’s a thing, I don’t really see the point of gambling because you’re either doing it to make more money out of it or you’re just doing it for the thrill.

Neither excites me,how?

Okay the whole telling you about my trip thing is getting boring,so I’m just gonna sum it up that it was a fantastic with sparks of love is in the air flying all around wtf.

Every relationship has its own flaws, and its special that way. Most people can’t seem to learn how to accept their partners’ for what they are made of; and there’s obviously situations where we try to apparently advise them to change for the better. Now here’s the grey area for this situation, are you genuinely wanting  him/her to change for themselves or for you?

I feel extremely blessed at times because I know how tough it is to find somebody who loves you for everything you are and everything you’re not.  :)

Its pretty amusing at times when I realize that our conversations seem to have no boundaries; i can shoot him down with a bullet or tease him round round face and he’ll just gladly play along. We share a pretty solid common ground with issues and people, and I love how we talk about relationships. Its often these little little things that makes it all seem right,and comfortable.

So he said this to me earlier tonight over drinks at Pappa Rich after dinner with his parents; in some very serious tone of voice.

“I looked into the future,and I see you in it; with me.”

I was beaming,sitting down quietly sipping my fresh apple juice; then just thought to myself. He’s probably not gonna be reading this since he doesn’t read my blog wtf but I knew that he meant everything he said. To me all this would have been a cliché trying to win my heart over sweet talking crap if this statement was said four years ago; but having this statement coming after all that we’ve been through, it nearly brought tears to my eyes.

We talked about how it is important to celebrate our differences. Two separate individuals are bound to disagree at times,but what usually kills the relationship is when there’s this expectation that you have to agree with me if you love me wtf. Thats bullshit, even Siamese twins don’t agree with everything!

We’re only human.
We all have flaws,and imperfections.

All this realization doesn’t come early in the relationship of course. There’ll be this phase of getting to know each others flaws which can either end up becoming a weakness or you can either find your way around it. Then followed by this phase where you’ll start to shape the relationship a little bit by being more demanding about what you want and expect from each other; here’s where the give & take session takes place, and what comes after is usually the make or break point. I call it,the turning point.

After all that, you’ll find yourself in this place in time where you know you’ve met the right one. The Keeper said this yesterday, people meet their soulmates at different stages of their lives. It can start off anywhere from the most unexpected timing/places;there’s often this hint that makes you feel so comfortable around them even when you have the most usual conversations.

Thats when the falling head over heels happens,if it moves on to the next level of course.

Never ever lose faith.

It really does take many negative thoughts and persistent negative thinking to bring something negative into ours lives. I swear that if people keep up with the whole negative thinking over a period of time, your thoughts will eventually convert itself into things which you’ve been thinking about. Worry about having negative thoughts,you will attract more worrying about your negative thoughts, and multiply them at the same time wtf.

Like what I’ve always said,the mind is a dangerous playground.
