So what’s up Chef?
                                                    The Banana story.

Good day everyone. I’ve been spending most of my time shopping, shopping & more shopping over the past few days & this weekend. Zara’s shoes are selling cheap now, Zara pumps, Zara pumps. Spent my afternoon being a chef cooking Instant Noodles wtf for myself & the boyfriend with an apparent extra dish. Hope you guessed it right, its just scrambled egg lah okay!

Here is the catch man;

I am foolishly admitting that I am stupid (not knowledgeable enough) to tell the existence of the HL Banana milk & mistaken it as normal low fat milk. So, as I was in a complete rush in such a chaotic situation, I just took the milk out of the fridge, had a quick look of the packaging making sure it states MILK and just poured it into the bowl.

Lets skip the cooking part because according to the grapevine I’m enormously good in cooking okay! Served it onto the dining table having a big wide smile lighted on my face and said how bad is it dear? Then rushed off into the kitchen to finish up the chaotic mess I created earlier, and at the same time yelling at the top of my lungs; how bad is it dear?

So, as I was about the finish washing up, Alvin called me & said: “What did you add into the egg huh?”
I was overjoyed at that moment assuming he was going to praise the girlfriend for such a extraordinary effort, wtf and replied: “Is it nice? I added milk of course, can’t you tell?”

*at this point, my mind is covered with bundles of joy & of course happy lah right getting good comments from him for the “effort”. While Alvin is having the question marks POPPING out of his head wondering what the hell was wrong and how did the egg end up tasting like bananas!

Alvin asked: “You’re done with the dishes right. Have you tasted the egg?”
I was apparently so sure that nothing went wrong and that smile on his face undeniably gave me the wrong assumption then I replied: “Okay hold on! I’ll be out in a minute.”
 

*Behold the moment of truth. 
The silly me took a bite with a smile wider than the ocean,
then my eyes POPPED wide open.

WHY DOES IT TASTE LIKE BANANA???

I mentioned earlier that I never knew banana milk existed, and sorry to say I’m not a big fan of banana flavored food stuff. I was still left shocked & in disbelief of my taste buds, thinking HOW THE HELL IT ENDED UP TASTING LIKE BANANAS?!

I felt damn stupid & feel free to have good laugh at my stupidity in things like such. It was stated Banana Flavored Milk, and the boyfriend finished it up,so things are not so bad after all. Hahaha! 

*The morale of the story, read the ingredients first before adding them in into your dishes! Just a random note, Librans & Sagittarius are total opposites, right? *smirks*

The best defense is to have a good cover up, someone wise once told me. I find that very true especially when you are caught in a situation, which is filled with embarrassment, jealousy, anger, depression, or sometimes when you get cheated on. My biggest mistake I would say was being overly sensitive and defensive over myself for a long, long time. Now I have learned that it is not necessary to show your inner most feelings off. I am impressed with those people who can just suck it all in repeatedly, pretending its all okay every single time.

It is not in my nature to just “close one eye”, but it works! 

If you take that onto the next level, then that would be living in denial. Not willing to accept the fact, any fact for that matter; and just convincing yourself about otherwise is in my opinion, pure stupidity. So how long can we actually suck it all in repeatedly? Just a random note, are all Librans like me in this situation? 

I am curious.

It is going to be a great weekend filled with shopping, shopping & shopping! Though that might sound a little wee too bimbotic, it feels like we’re in heaven when we shop, unless when you window shop then it’s a different thing laa! At one point I had this craze over online shopping which barely lasted, maybe I should just start one soon! Partners?
