This is probably the first proper post since the new outlook,I’m very very happy with the generous response that you love it. Figured it’ll create some sort of magical connection between us.
There’s been quite a lot going on at the moment, the Chinese New Year frenzy, bad weather, too much time spent catching up,and most importantly my classes are starting off soon! Its gonna be quite a new experience for me,regardless of the studying location (which is still the same!) because of the change of environment. I’m no different from you, I do go through the whole mind boggling situation wondering if it’ll all work out for me, and the long list of “if’s”.
Worry less, and look forward towards it.
Here’s something that I’ve learned recently through some reading, we spend more than half our time worrying; without realizing that by constantly convincing yourself of the worst; the law of attraction will work its magic. Thoughts become things. Then I figured that as long as you do your best, and work hard for something that you want so bad; when there’s a will, there’s a way.
Its my last one week of total freedom, before surrendering myself to architecture yet again; but I honestly feel that I’ve managed to accomplish a lot of the past three months. Needed a much deserved holiday, traveled to Taiwan,Singapore & Thailand; to get my site properly done up, spent great quality time with my family since when my classes are on I’m constantly under pressure with work and most importantly the superb holiday with the Keeper. The amount of shopping done was insane!
Then again, I guess one thing that I wish to accomplish this year is to remain focus with my architectural studies and aim for the highest possible results. No more settling for good results, because I honestly feel that I’ve kinda graduated off my past trying to make it and pay my debts for the mistakes I’ve done during my teenage years. The burden is finally lifted off my chest, and hell this time its all for me.
Here’s my self motivation because my ego to live up to what I proclaim will drive me. ![]()
I am gonna kick some serious ass; I can and most importantly because I want to.
Blogging has clearly done a lot for me in 2009,literally went on a full swing tour of how is it like to meet lots of new people, opened up many doors, money-making for a student like myself, but most importantly that very satisfying feeling of having people coming to read not about events, parties, reviews but about what I have to say on a daily basis. Remember, its a living human being you’re reading about.
I miss those days when I use to read blogs, and follow them. There’s this sense of connection that makes you feel as if you know a lot about that someone but yet you’re perfect strangers. I’ve found my blogging niche; and its personal with a capital P. I must admit that I had a fair bit of trouble juggling between my blogging circle and architecture in 2009; since I’m feeling more or less established with constant traffic with or without updates.
Here’s an advice,even to myself.
When you do something with passion, results will speak for itself.
I love this process of growing up,penning down my cuckoo colorful days and being able to look back years down the road that wow,its sure been quite a journey! I hope my readers, friends would respect my choice to take on a full swing on architecture this year.
I can sure use a couple of words of encouragement!

Great shots.
Do you have any chocolate cake left?
I agree that we spend over half of our time worry…..maybe even more. Which makes it important to surround yourself with positive people and materials. I always have a Bob Proctor CD or motivational book handy when I need a positive fix.
I like the lay-out of your blog. Keep up the good work!
Ryan – wow thats quite a quick reply considering its now 4am in the morning over here on my side.
Chocolate cake is long gone digested, its readily available at any Starbucks though! Gotta agree with the whole surrounding yourself with positive people and materials! A Bob Proctor CD? Thanks, glad you love it just as much as I do too, on the layout.
