Cheering The Cheerio. |
August 27, 2009 |
Blogging isn’t as simple as owning a site, covering events like reporters as a form of a different media; it has a lot to do with the personality and the blogger themselves. It seems like every tom, dick and harry owns a dot com these days; but once again its no longer a form of a status of recognition, but merely a trend picking up over the world wide web. It definitely does not reflect the blog traffic; readership doesn’t come as easy as a-b-c. Domains are selling off at pretty cheap prices, make sure you get yours as soon as possible because its selling like hotcakes.
Getting readers is one thing, keeping them is another.
Oh don’t get me wrong, its nothing personal besides, its all subjective. On the other hand,I had a pretty long day in college going through a rather rough & frustrating meeting, assignments are going on full-fledged fifth gear at the moment i kid you not.
I’m happy nonetheless ending the day with an entire night spent with the Keeper and I managed to grab my favorite meal! Life is all about striking the perfect balance, right?
I’m sure you all would have known by now about how much I write about love & relationships and I’m a sucker for romantic comedies. The most important thing in making a relationship work is definitely about the ability to remain truthful at all times, but yes of course there’ll be occasions where the truth hurts. Nothing beats brutal honesty, and I’m glad that I’ve managed to have that with me.
Now here’s what I have to offer.
The Ugly Truth Screening

- How important it is to you about truthfulness in a relationship; and does being in one suffocates you when it requires you to be truthful all the time?

Getting readers is one thing, keeping them is another. – It’s so true! Nice post!
Keefe – thank you,you missed out on a cheesy line!
Forgive me but I dont want the tickets, I’m just doing this to express!?!
1. Very important, although being truthful might be bothering at times. It’s still a must so that the other half would not have to suffer by living with me and solving doubts, lies as well as riddles all the time.
2. Remember when I caught your eye, you gave me rainbows and butterflies.
Answer for Q1:
Very Important! We often start off with two people who are madly in love, who would do anything for each other, why does there come a time when this is no longer true, or even worse when they start hating each other.
A statement often heard under those circumstances is “You are not the man/woman I married” *LOL*
All in all, we need to get to know ourselves a lot better. We need to be honest about who we are and what we need. Honesty towards ourselves as well as towards others.
Answer for Q2 :
“Three Words. Eight Letters. Say It and I’m Yours.”
woah jonathan cheesy cheesy line!
rainbows and butterflies sounds like a line in a song. hmmmm.
Q1- Truthful is very important in a relationship. Thou sometimes the truth hurts, its less hurtful then not being truthful. What i am saying is, if you tend to keep something from your other half, if she founds out later, the consequences is way worst than telling her yourself. The foundation for relationship is TRUST. No trust = no relationship.
Q2- Jean on me and i will jean on you. Together we will make it through =)
I just wanna express my thought =)
1. Who don’t want their partner to be truthful?; Suffocate? Maybe. People always hope their partner can be truthful all the time, but sometimes a lie is better than the harsh truth.
2. If you want me to give an expire date for our love, I wish it is 10,000 years. *Quoted from Steven chow*
Q1 Important but nothing beats faith, being able to trust your other half. Couples may not be true to each other and tell the truth all the time, I can bet that with my life no couples do that. I myself am in a very long relationship and I admit, I do lie but it’s not the “I’m going out with my girls but actually I’m seeing this other guy” kinda lie. The lies I meant are lies that keeps the relationship healthy and going. We don’t want little things to ruin it so sometimes, a lie is necessary. Faith is a different thing, it’s about believing in each other. Like how my partner trusts me and vice versa.
Q2 I think I’ve just fallen in love with you again.
Q1: Like other readers, it’s truth that being truthful is important in a relationship. Sometimes the truth is hurtful but it will not make one sink even deeper to sorrow, dissappointment and expectation. Truth is where couples learn how to respect each other to make the r/ship works
Q2: The heart can be busted, but it keeps whipping at the same time
not to win the tickets! although i wish i could but im not in m’sia
1. Relationships are built on several things, and one of the most important components of a relationship is trust, without it a relationship wont be a relationship. It’ll be suffocation and paranoia between 2 people.
2. i love you
hey girl, you better have a license, because you’re driving me crazy lolol~
1) Truthfulness is as important as having to wear your undies when you’re going out. Without truthfulness, a relationship is compared to be naked and not complete. Although it might seem okay from far, but when you look closer, you’ll definitely find its flaws. It certainly does not suffocate me to be truthful all the time because as said, I will never NOT wear my undies out. =)
2) Shut up, just shut up. You had me at “hello”. <— How can this not melt anyone. =)
1. Very, truth can be suffocating but it’ll definitely makes you feel better when you’re truthful!
2. Three words, you complete me. =)
Hi there!
Here are my answers to the Qs to try to win the tickets :
1)Obviously truthfulness is very important in a relationship; however, it does put you in a difficult position if you had to make up a white lie.Guilt girl
2)”I may not be perfect but neither can you. Therefore, we’re perfect for each other”
Ellu!
Here i go. XP
1.When there is no truth it kills the relationship. With lies around, neither one can be happy. It kills to be the person that lies.
2.It was your eyes that gave me butterflies.
omg. its so cheeeesy. lol.
This is fun!
1. Truthfulness plays a big part in the relationship. Without it, I suggest you screw the relationship. I don’t think it suffocates me, then again, it’s different for every individual.
2. As soon as my heart knew your existence, I couldn’t stop loving you. “quoted by TracyTan.” Heh!
ahaaa now i knw.. missin out alot from here
cheesy line .. but anyway i just drop to get some update of u hehe
Q1.How important it is to you about truthfulness in a relationship; and does being in one suffocates you when it requires you to be truthful all the time?
i look for security in a relationship. to be in a relationship with someone, to fall and rely on someone else’s arms,to open up your heart and soul and to call someone ur own, u have to feel safe, and therefore truthfulness will make u trust. to me, truthfulness goes alongside love..to love is to trust, and to trust is to be truthful.
it doesnt suffocate me to be truthful because i prefer the same being done by my other half. u shouldnt have anything to hide if u believe that u’ve found ‘the one’ and wans him/her to respect and trust u, the same way u do him/her.
Q2.Name me one of the most romantic lines in not more fifteen words.
you’re my perfect stranger.
