Greetings! I’m sure you’re just as excited and thrilled as I am for the newly revamped outlook for MissyCheerio.com 2010. Please bare with me for the hiccups as its still going through a stage of improvising but do give me feedbacks since you’re gonna be reading this everyday so why not have your say. I would love to highlight the comment button icon which looks like a spinning colorful fan/windmill, that actually spins when you hover (drag mouse over) it!

Among the things which I would need you to say a thing or two on, would be:

1. I’m sure most of you would miss out on the flash header, its basically just two images with a before-after effect. I’d love to know if you have problem loading the flash or the page, and state which browser you’re using if you’re experiencing problems like such.

   

2. The experience of leaving a comment would be a whole lot different than before now. I know how some may find it pointless for the comment button to spin, but it simply amuses me! Its pretty obvious that I would like my readers to share some very personal preferences that I like,right? Now tell me you love it!
3. I am pretty sick of my long list of blog roll, so moved it on a separate page under Links (above). I will be removing and adding on some blogs, so this is probably one of the only few times I’m open to new linking up requests. However, the links on the main page under Highlights and Credits are exclusive either because I love reading you or probably only read you; or its paid for.  Thought it’ll be a better idea to not diversify the linkage attention.
4. I am aware of some people having different preferences when it comes to font sizes, colors and such; but I love it all here. Its hours of hours working together with Haze; my blog designer, photos for the header & creativity by Joe Low and of course Advertlets who made it all wonderful for me. Its been an amazing collaboration and effort put together to create this very personal space.



5. The spinning colorful fan/windmill which evokes the essence of being Cheerio wtf I’m just kidding. I love how that certain degree of movement involving colors that sparks the sense of different variation in emotions.
6. The grey/white grid background is obviously intended and one of a kind; to share the architectural side of myself. The different shades of white,grey and black has been carefully chosen to not make it feel so gloomy and dead serious; also with the help of hints of colors.
7. I’ve also added this new feature on the right column; Featured section where I’ll leave a thumbnail of the selected post of the week! Perfect for advertorial purposes.

Good day folks,well it wasn’t exactly the most awesome day for me because of the massive skin allergy. Mum made me try on the Garnier product for one application and my skin was in flame last night. It was obviously a total NO-NO when you’re attending a photoshoot the very next morning wtf. The weather is insanely hot these days; especially today! The day started off with driving over to Joy‘s place, the shoot, lunch with Aaron Ho who’s such a dear to withstand the heat yo! and a movie night out with the Keeper.

Enough of complaining.
A little advice on how to reduce the redness/allergy reaction is greatly appreciated!
Anyway,I have some story to share today; and the reason why I chose to put this up because it is spooky & seems pretty relate-able to most people. I’m sure most of you have stories to share (email me maybe I can share it here too) but this one should keep me up all night!

Earlier tonight,before we fled off for home after our after movie Pappa Rich SS15 session; bumped into some old friends,sat down for some catching up which then lead to a conversation about cursed cars.

I wrote all of that last night but stopped right there; started being paranoid because I watched Paranormal Activity and thought I heard some noises in my room wtf I’m not kidding.

The cursed car story,based on a couple of interpretation; here goes.

1. It started off with Wilson and a couple of friends driving in the car using the usual straight & long road to KLIA; you know the one that almost seems like theres no end to it.
2. So as he drove along the straight road on the fast lane, all of a sudden the car spun towards the left all the way to the slowest lane far left. From what I heard,its as if the car just made an emergency U-turn at top speed. This happened during the day,and thankfully there wasn’t any cars around when that happened.
3. Everybody escaped the crazy accident uninjured, the couple of friends left leaving Wilson alone with the tow truck driver. So here is when the real spookiness began.
4. So as the tow truck driver hooks the car onto the tow truck, Wilson who was still recovering from shock stood from afar looking at how badly damaged his car was still in disbelief that he’s still alive. Then he had this terrible feeling running all over him but he couldn’t tell what it was at first.
5. Suddenly,Wilson rushed towards the tow truck driver and dragged him away from whatever eh was doing; the tow truck’s cable snapped (hello it can hold off tonnes of weight,doesn’t snap that easily!) and the car started rolling backwards a little. This incident left the tow truck driver with a dislocated shoulder.
6. At this point of time,they were all obviously in shock and puzzled because it just didn’t make any perfect sense for the cable to snap without any opposing force from a different direction. So are you ready for the most spooky part of the story?
7. Wilson volunteered to drive the tow truck to the nearest police station,and told the tow truck driver to sit in his car at the back. (they managed to get the car up eventually) The car was probably damaged badly at the front,all smashed up but the seats remained in tact.
8. Suddenly,the car’s radio was turned on and the tow truck driver who was sitting on the drivers seat in the car was probably shaking in fear. The car’s engine was turned off,everything in the front was smashed up; wiring problems maybe? That was the initial assumption. These tow truck drivers would have better judgement of the condition on the damaged cars based on their experiences right?
9. The tow truck driver then tried to turn the radio off,but it wouldn’t go off.
10. Immediately gave Wilson a call and said; “Boss, ini kereta tak payah bawa balai boleh ah?” then further explained that the radio was on!
11. As soon as they arrived at the police station, the radio was still playing as they sat around the car along with the cops in disbelief. Opened up the car’s bonnet, everything was so badly damaged; checked the wiring,it was already gone beyond repair!
12. Wilson consulted a bomoh, it turns out; somebody cursed him to die on that very day; but it wasn’t his time to go yet. It was also believed that a ghost/gypsy/whatever you call it was with him the entire time causing the car to lose control getting into that accident, the hidden force which caused the cable to snap, and the radio of course.
13. The car remained untouched at the workshop for more than a month,and was repaired only his curse was sort of broken.

Okay just realized that it ended at number 13, and its a Friday. Being so spooked up right now,I quickly checked the calendar; thank goodness its the 12th and not Friday the 13th. I’m definitely looking for feedbacks on this. Till the,have a fantastic weekend; drive safe.

Some things happens for a reason they say,

The attraction was scrumptiously irritating,
If there’s ever such an expression, that is.

Its often the case that people upgrade as they age,
The complete opposite; what an bloody disgrace,
The world agrees about the mortifying beast,
Where the role of beauty and the beast is switched,
Perhaps its all about the beauty on the inside;
And not on the outside.

Good day folks. So much has happened over the last weekend,from a crazy Saturday spent with Joe Low and his amazing crew wtf which was made up by two of the most amazing people because we laughed so much on set. Thats part of the new project,but all is about to come on up smoothly very soon. Fingers crossed about that. I have also learned so much from meeting or rather getting to know different people from different fields of expertise where you learn to see the light from an entirely different perspective for what they do.

My classes are about to begin soon,approximately three weeks from now with Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day smacked right in between. So here’s the thing that I’d like to share about today. A year ago today would be myself in my 5th Semester planning on a study trip to Ipoh with my entire batch of classmates on Valentine’s Day. That was actually quite the turning point for year 2009,where everything seem to fell apart before things somehow just picked off so well towards the later half of the year.

February was the month where I broke up with the Keeper,it was the start of the rocky Ellie hitting the on the roller coaster. To me,that was also the turning point for many things in my life. It was only then when I signed up for MissyCheerio.com from my xanga days, that was when I started to open up doors for myself; to the media, events, parties and everything else. Nobody really knew what happened between us, it was quite a shocking sudden break up but I knew very well that our love would never die.

And for those who’ve been reading for a while now,I’m sure you’re aware that I did briefly dated Eugene for two months which was probably more of a good friend when I was in need. I just recently learned a couple of things about myself, and I guess he has done quite  a fair share for me in the effort of making me happy. Guess things didn’t work out as well between us because I was far too upset. I was bashing him here for quite a long period of time, not exactly the proudest thing to admit but oh well I guess you’ve got to deal with the fact that this is a personal space that happened to have a lot of readers.

Well that was then, I realized that I was happy with him but just far too unhappy on the inside. My smile had no sparkles in it. The burden off the broken heart was far too great to handle, it was also then when I decided to chop off my long locks which I’ve had for eight years. I don’t even have a picture of myself in short hair before that!

2009 was also quite a gear shifting year for me in terms of architecture,because I channeled most of my time to push myself into the next level. I was barely surviving, sitting at my drafting table at home rendering the 3D models of my design; playing on the songs that the Keeper sent me over on MSN like The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus’ Your Guardian Angel, Dashboard Confessional’s Ghost of A Good Thing and Stolen in April.

We weren’t back together in April,but I can recall him(the Keeper) watching me over the webcam over on MSN during wee hours in the morning; telling me don’t cry,things will be okay. Despite the break up,he was with me through it all; always a phone call away because we both knew that we’re soul mates. He could finish my sentences and read my expressions effortlessly even when I don’t speak.

You don’t need to be in a relationship to love somebody.
Who knew?

He’s always,always there at the right time to catch me when I fall.

Not too long after,we’re back together.

That was definitely the turning point for both our lives. The beauty about getting back together is probably the whole excitement about doing it all together again but you’ve ought to be careful not to live off the past. Everyday is a new day,and just take one day at a time. It was also then when the Keeper began his new career working with my father (till today!) and I kinda graduated one part of my journey into becoming an awesome architect right?

You’ll never how much you love till you lose,it teaches you the very essence of life itself. We’re pretty weird in our own way because we’ve do see each other every single day for the past four years plus,and I tell you something unbelievable okay. As far as I am concerned,everyday still feels so exciting! Probably when you have a very animated and bubbleh (bubbly) girlfriend and a boyfriend who behaves like a big kid just to make you laugh all the time; how not to look forward towards it!

The end of 2009 was probably the best I’ve ever had,and 2010 started off amazingly. Life is all about moving forward,and I’m glad we all did. If you meet a man who’s always telling you that I want to make you my wife, has a joint bank account with you for years and tells you you’re beautiful all the time wtf; then I guess you should consider yourself lucky. Its not everyday that you get to feel like you’re the utmost important thing in the world to somebody.

So,I guess its time to celebrate differences and shake hands graduating from 2009.
