Good day folks. Things always happen when you least expect them to, some shit happened earlier this morning; nearly threw my good mood out the window; I’m just praying for the best at the moment for that issue. Did some light packing, which I ended up meeting Desmond; who is still persistent in not disclosing his birthday wtf but I guess I might just make that my life long mission to get that out of him.
Its interesting to see a reflection of yourself through someone else, and its been great catching up with all the people whom I haven’t had the chance to do so over the past couple of months. Its almost like my life is constantly packed with a tight schedule that all I do is work, be in love wtf & just try to make the best out of the tiny bit of time I had. And I do make it a point, to sort of have a refresh button pressed on every half a year; to make better plans and to improve things.
We must always make mistakes and amend them, right?
#1 Having fun cheekily while the Keeper was fast asleep.
#2 I looked so pale wtf.
Since I will be leaving on a jetplane off to Shanghai to attend the famous Shanghai Expo, figured I might as well take you into my world of architecture for a bit. Its always cool and fascinating to see buildings which are built extraordinarily or in eyes of a normal layman; anything unconventional is design is more than sufficient to gain your praises, right?
Here’s a little you should know about the Shanghai Expo 2010:
- Its held on both banks of the Huangpu River in the city of Shanghai, China, from May 1 to October 31, 2010.
- It is a World Expo in the tradition of international fairs and expositions.
- The theme of the exposition is “Better City – Better Life”
- Signifies Shanghai’s new status in the 21st century as the “next great world city”.
- It is the most expensive Expo in the history of the world’s fairs.
- The Shanghai World Expo is also the largest World’s Fair site ever at 5.28 square km.
- More than 190 countries and more than 50 international organizations have registered to participate in the Shanghai World Expo, the largest ever.

Stay tuned for updates, will try to update the blog from Shanghai if its possible; but do let me know if you find the architectural content inspiring and educational okay? Never really introduced much about my architectural design field, but if you do dig it; leave a comment & let me know. I am so excited for my trip that I think I might not be able to sleep tonight; hoping for a smooth cruising flight & to take loads of wonderful pictures.
Just the thought of being there, with all the amazing pavilions from every country excites the crap out of me; yes despite the long queue I’m keeping my fingers crossed for an amazing trip.
Art is the only way to run away without leaving home.
