A(H1N1) Is Not For A Thrill.

August 18, 2009

Good day folks. Blog traffic has been insanely high for the past couple of days but not much of feedback on the comments probably because its way too lovey-dovey to even comment on anything right? :| Anyhoo, its really hard to get your head out of a love bubble because everything that comes off my mind will end up coming out the same way here. Lets just say that I’ll give it a shot to break out of the love cycle for a day, shall we? ;)

Yesterday after having the awesome fried chicken drumstick dinner with curry at the Keeper‘s, we were watching the news showing on TV about the recent alarming issue on H1N1. Like most of you,I guess the figures of the ratio on the amount of deaths, infected & overall possibility that we might get infected ourselves. Its true that its merely a flu which carries viruses that only attacks people with weak immune system & health problems. Thats an assumption through the word of mouth, but my question is; do you really know H1N1?

And as far as I am concern, the death of my dad’s friend who died of H1N1 was unreported for some reason. If you should know by now,its only a normal thing to do to ease the nation about the danger level of this disease. On a personal level,I strongly feel that the authorities have not been doing enough to transcend a clear picture about the steps of preventions, precautions & how to contaminate this disease. The spread of diseases like such works very much like a chain reaction, and every reaction is obviously started off by an action.

So,should I dare question; where is the action?

This picture was taken with a mask on due to the renovation going on in the office during my internship. :| Totally unrelated, but that’s probably one of the few pictures of myself in a mask. We can all make a difference, and it all has to start from somewhere. I’m not a doctor, but here is what i can provide you. Please do bother clicking it up,to view it in a higher resolution okay? :)

Life’s too short, make sure you live everyday to its fullest and happiest as you can be. Don’t let petty issues cloud your bright sunny days, and most importantly I’ve been able to literally delete & erase off some bitter memories. When there’s a will, there’s a way. :) Anyway, my day really sucked having a panic attack when my laptop’s adapter died on me; yes I felt paralyzed literally. Called the Keeper and nearly cried out loud i swear, thankfully I managed to get hold of a new one over dinner.

A message to my readers.

I hope my message reaches out to you folks,I know you don’t leave much comments but the blog traffic shows otherwise. I’m quite careful with my readers, average visit length of 4-5 minutes? :) At least I know that you don’t scroll through for pictures, and you do read. I’m not a big fan of replying comments either, but thanks for being so consistent. Its not so much about who I am,but about how this blog builds a bridge connecting both me and you; in a good way or bad way, that’s secondary. ;) Most importantly,I’m currently on a mission in tracking down all the blog that links to me here. I’m more than pleased with the figure,do tell me if you’ve linked me. I don’t read blogs anymore, been too busy; but commenting is definitely one way to direct me to you. :) Say a hello!

Apparently Ellie Chee Cheong Fun appeared in New Strait Times today, :D I can’t find the online source though. Don’t take the H1N1 disease too lightly,it could be deadly. Hopefully my effort isn’t put to waste. Much love, cheerios.
